This Is Newly Printed Music
Henry Morton Dunham (1853-1929) began his college study as a motivated
organ student. Planning to study with Eugene Thayer at Boston Conservatory,
he travelled to Boston but found the doors locked. So, he walked across the
street to the New England Conservatory, liked what he found, and entered there
to study with George Whiting. This tuneful piece is packed with colorful registration
changes and Victorian cliché. Moderately easy.
